Test all trailer/motorhome systems, keep a maintenance log, check house batteries, and service trailer brakes. Inspect trailer brakes, hitch, electrical hookups, inside wiring, and tire condition before hitting the road. Check for corrosion, binding, seizing, and wire deterioration, and check for dead marker or signal bulbs. Replace tires, air up tires, check roof, seams, and caulking for wear and damage, and be proactive to reduce on-road problems.
